Volunteer Firemen Ken Stevens (R) and John Grissim (L) attempt to rescue a seal which has been washed up onto Calle del Arroyo during the 82-83 storm flooding. They are using plastic sheeting to scoop the seal up. The front of the fire truck is visible on the left. The old Red Whale can be seen in the background on the far side of Easkoot Creek.
