Scope & Content:
Charlotte remembers leaving Germany as a young girl via "Youth in Peril" in 1939 and her subsequent migration with her family to San Francisco. She recalls her first impression of Stinson Beach in the early 40s with her future husband, Heinz. They later bought a lot and built a (very modern for the times) home and had 2 sons. They were involved in the artistic/literay left-wing political fundraising of the time. She remarried Tad in 1965 after her first husband died. Later Charlotte was part of the Citizens for Open Access..." suit against Seadrift, and served as Audubon Canyon Ranch guide, and tutored for the Literacy Program, and belonged to the Native Plant Society.
