Scope & Content:
Hugh remembers Stinson Beach from the 1940's thru the 1990's. He talks about the Stinson Beach Water District, the Progressive Club (now the Village Association), and his relationship with entrepreneur George Leonard who much of the land around Stinson Beach, and architect Oren Jenkins.

He begins by telling of how his house was built (1956-7) and where he lived for 40 years. He offers a bit of SBWD history and the failed sewer plan. He explains how he became a lawyer and how his health forced him to quit and relocate out of Stinson.

Anecdotal stuff about the Sand Dollar and other local folks fill out the interview.
