Description:
One man stands looking down on several front loaders working on the beach to restore the end of Seadrift sandspit after winter storms of 1983. They are moving sand from the beach and depositing it over rip rap in front of the houses to form a dune, after which more rip rap is put in place. The curvature of Stinson Beach can be seen and the view extends all the say to San Francisco. It is a clear day with some puffy clouds and rolling waves on a blue ocean.
