Two boys in knickers and three in overalls stand in front of the schoolhouse, shown in its entire front view.There are four large sash windows under overhanging eaves, an entrance from the center porch, two smaller windows to the right and a small structure partially showing to the right of the photograph. The frame building is of dark stained boards and the windows are framed in white. There is an attempt at landscaping in front of the school.
