This black and white photograph shows a point of land and a sweep of beach enclosing a bay on the left. To the right are hills and houses. There is a bank of fog on the horizon with clear sky above. The point of land is Bolinas Point and the Bay is Bolinas Bay. To the right of the farther curve of sand Bolinas Lagoon can be seen. Edging the sand, closer to the camera, are the houses of the patios and the calles. In the right mid-foreground are the houses of the downtown neghborhood with highway 1 running through it.
