The print was printed reversed in mirror image by the reproducer, but it is "un-reversed" here to be seen correctly.
This black and white photo shows the creation of man-made Seadrift Lagoon in 1956. Sand berm in the shape of the lagoon and Dipsea Road side development is made to hold the water in and the filling of land. Quite few houses are already built on the ocean side of the Seadrift Road but non on the Lagoon side. The crescent of the beach and Bolinas could be seen to the left of the photo.
