Description:
People of all ages are gathered along Fourth Street in Point Reyes Station watching a vintage modified automobile/panel truck pass by in a (July 4th) parade . The white open-air truck is adorned with stenciled animal symbols and a banner across the top that shows a 1954 date. The man driving is Elwood Sanke. Sitting beside him is a woman in a 4-H cap who may be Diane Smith. In the rear panel of the truck are two young girls and another women - all in white, all in caps. The auto has just crossed the corner of Shoreline Hwy and Fourth Street and a number of parked vehicles can be seen in the distance on both sides of the road, as well as the corner house and several other buildings.
