A color photograph face of Stewart, Walt . Walt Stewart was known as a courtroom artist for Channel 4, KRON. S.F. native, died Nov.27, 2002. He won Emmys for his coverage of Dan White (1980), Juan Corona (1984) trials and news sketches of PSA crash over San Luis Obispo County (1988). Lived in Stinson Beach in the house that fellow Courtroom Artist, Jim Schwering, owned. At the time of death he was living in Bolinas, on a Horse Hill Rd property he inherited from his mother, well known environmental/peace activist, Frances Stewart(ta).
