Color photograph of Jim Schwering taken by Procter Jones. Jim Schwering, an artist and illustrator, spent many years working as a court artist for Channel 4 News in San Francisco. He moved from Pennsylvania to Stinson Beach in 1969 with his wife Gail (divorced later), daughter Pema and son Guy. He was instrumental in the creation of Village Green I. Photograph from his collection is in our file, 2003. He owned and lived in the house across from the library, on Highway 1. He passed away in 1995.(ta)
