Lillian Russell and her husband sit in white wooden chairs on (presumably) the porch of their home. Between them, sitting on the arm of her chair, is their pet dog (a Jack Russell?), which Lillian gently holds by her two front legs. She wears black slacks, white short-sleeve blouse and a ribbon/scarf holds her hair back. Hubby is casually dressed and wears glasses. On the back of the photo is written: "Lillian Russell (and husband) she had first wild flower show for Allied Arts - a small but lovely show. Also a teacher in Pt. Reyes."
