A ceramist and musician, Sharon Rowell is known for her ceramic musical instrument, okarina. She and her ex-husband, Hal Lolfing, operated a breakfast place on the beach at her home in late 70's and a ceramic ware store at the Staples building on Highway 1. In 1990's she opened up her studio and kiln for like minded people. She is seen voluntarily cleaning the beach and streets of Stinson Beach from time to time. (ta)
