A portrait photograph of George P. Leonard was taken from the booklet of Golden Beaver Recipients of the year in 1960s. The booklet included George P. Leonard as the recipient of the year and included short biography of him (2016-121-02). The photographic copy was taken by IPhone on the occasion of visit to his daughter, Barbara Robben, who still take care of the house and now owns the house George and Wilma lived on Avenida Olema. He was born in 1904 and despite of his humble origin, by 1960 he became the largest land owner Stinson Beach ever had. Most of his property is now under GGNRA.

Golden Beaver Award is given to a distinguish member of civil engineers who worked in heavy constructions such as dams, bridges and tunnels.
