Description:

This black and white photograph shows the figure of a woman (Louise Airey) standing on a snowy road where tire tracks are visible. To the right of the figure is a snow covered hill with four signs, one a wooden fence type sign, two rectangular signs and one octagonal (stop) sign. One of the rectangular signs has discernable letters. It reads Stinson Beach with an arrow pointing straight ahead and Mt. Tamalpais with an arrow pointing right. The picture was taken at Pan Toll at the junction of these two roads. On the back is written 'Febr. 28, 1951 at "Pan Toll" 4 miles from Stinson Beach Calif'.
