Description:

Sepia toned postcard circa 1910 shows the Stinson Beach hillside from the beach. The white sand in the foreground is separated from the residences on the hillside by a line of wooden posts. Two or three houses appear to be directly on the beach, most of the others are built on the hill. Trees cluster in the clefts of the hillside. In the righthand bottom corner is printed STINSON BEACH, NEAR BOLINAS, CAL. Peggy Pepper is written on the back in ink as well as circa 1910s, and a sticker on which is written September.
