This is a postcard in sepia showing a panoramic view of the Marin County Coast. Printed in the lower right hand corner is "the surging Pacific washes the rugged shore line of Marin County, California." The coastline with steep cliffs falling to the ocean is on the left. On the back of the card is the postmark from Stinson Beach, Cal. dated Jul. 23, 1949. It is addressed to Miss Beulah Baird, Allta Bates Hospital, Berkeley, Cal. Written note says, "Friday, Down at Post Office & just received a note from Peggy - So sorry to hear of your sickness - hope by this time you are feeling a little better. With Love, M L Pepper." -Minnie Legge Pepper, mother of Peggy Pepper, lived at the cottage on Laurel Av. where Peggy moved after her retirement , 1971 to 1993 when she moved to the Redwood Retirement Community in Mill Valley.
