The flat rooftop, brick chimney and tops of the windows that run the length of the McCready house are visible above the sand dunes, rip-rap and dune grasses. The house is one the the earliest homes built on the sandspit in Seadrift, located at 13 Seadrift Road. The tree-laden hillside of Mt. Tam provides a scenic backdrop.
