Description:
A color postcard of Stinson Beach from White Gate Ranch. Blue Sky, Blue Ocean along crescent of the beach and the Seadrift Lagoon with no houses on the Dipsea side. The Patios, Calles and houses in the Old Town and Highlands are visible. The Ranch building at the White Gate Ranch has sculptures by Bob Hudson standing on the yard. An artist couple, Bob Hudson and Cornelia Schultz Hudson, and their 2 boys, Robert Shaw, his wife, Martha, and their 2 children (boy and girl) lived and work there during 1970's. The Ranch was operated by Rick Solano and was owned by George Leonard. On the back of the card is printed: Bolinas Bay on the Marin County coast. Stinson Beach is in foreground. Bolinas lies beyond to the left. Marin Color Cards, Box 345 Inverness, Calif. 94937. Also written in pen, Peggy Pepper.
