Description:
A black and white photograph of people gathering near the finish of the Dipsea Race. In the center a banner reading "Dipsea Indians" hangs from a rope stretched from the electrical pole in front of the Hotel Airey. The Hotel Airey is in the upper right of the picture with the name painted on its roof. Five or 6 cars are parked on the field (present Village Green I area) with people milling around. On the right hand side 70 to 80 people are lining up on both sides of the street leading to the Hotel's front porch area waiting for the runners to arrive.
