Description:
Artist puts the finishing touches on an impressionistic painting of two fisherman on a rolling sea with a few clouds overhead. She is standing at an easel with her back to the photographer. Behind that is a painting/mural with a handwritten sign saying "Mural being done by McBatten." She may be painting in a barn or shed because of the rough floor and straw in the foreground. There are a few buckets with flowers (Hydrangeas?), some tipped over, on the right. Her paints sit on a stool beside the easel. She is wearing loose pants, smock and a beret.
