This is a photograph of the gravity train at the mid-point where the track divides into 2 so the cars can pass each other. In the right foreground one can see the tracks starting to merge again. The tower on the ridge is the Marine Exchange Observation Station. It appears that someone has been dropped off at that point to man the station.
