This is a digital photograph of Nathan and Rose Stinson taken from page 137 of a book by Jack Mason in 1973, titled "The Last Stage for Bolinas". Nathan is dressed in a formal attire like tuxedo with a bow tie. He has a long beard. He is seated on a chair with 4,5 inches long truceless, his right arm on his lap and left arm resting on a small round table with turned legs. Rose is standing to his side to left of the photo. She has her hair done with bangs on her forehead and her long hair is tied in the back once and 2 curls are showing on her shoulder. She is clasping her hands on the back of Nathan's chair closed to his right shoulder. She is wearing a dark floor length dress.Nathan Stinson married the widow of his partner, James Wallace Upton in 1874 becoming the sole owner of 1720 acres Stinson Ranch. This could be their wedding photo. The foot note of the photo says,"Nathan and Rose Stinson. They met on Point Reyes. Rose's son Archie Upton was the promoter of early Stinson Beach. Mr. and Mrs Earl Skinner Sr. Collection.
