Description:
This original black and white photgraphic print depicts the foundation being laid for the church. There are three workmen surrounded by lumber in the sub street level at the lower center of the photo and three people (two women and a man) standing above, at street level, looking down into the hole, at the far right center of the photo. The building behind the church foundation, at the center of the photo, is the Community Center. Behind that, in the upper right hand portion of the photo, is the Firehouse.
