A (low-contrast) muted (partial) photograph of 8 women (and at least one man - probably the teacher) sitting on wooden steps of a building that is not visible - only the shingles on the stairs that continue up and curve to the left. There are banisters on either side of the stairs and a black dog at the bottom who is looking up at another dog who is standing on the bottom step in front of a person who may be the teacher. The rolling hills of Mt. Tamalpais can be seen in the background.
