Description:
A black and white photo of a house above the beach with the hills behind. In front of the house on the beach dunes, there are 2 men in bathing pants--one to left is standing holding a hat, and one to right is lounging on a towel. The standing older could be Mr. Frank Smith who lived in the house until his death in early 1990s and the younger man to right could be his son who lived elsewhere of Marin County. The Spanish colonial style house is located just left of Highway 1 and Panoramic Highway junction. One story is visible from the Highway 1 and two stories on the beach side. The large rock cropping on the Panoramic side of hill , telephone or PGE line and post coming down along the Dipsea Trail is visible. "Frank Smith House-LA (Louise Airey)" is written on the back of photo.
