In 2009, the colorful history of the Chevalier (Lansburg) residence at 3325/3327 Shoreline Highway, Stinson Beach, was presented by Haakon Chevalier, the grandson of the original owner, Laz Lansburgh, before the estate changed hands from the family in 2012. At the time the house was known as the Chevalier House for his mother, Barbara, who lived there till her death. The article tells stories about the building (1917) of the house, designing of the famed garden, and famous people who came to stay, including actors and actresses.
