This black and white photo postcard is of a two story building. It has two large picture windows stretching across the lower part with a corner entrance. There is a false front on the upper story with two windows. There is a sign projecting above the upper story windows saying 'COTTAGES' and a sign across the front of the building, above the downstairs windows, reading 'STINSON BEACH SUPPLY CO. F.C. ALGAR Prop.' There is a smaller, right angle sign, over the corner entry, reading 'POST OFFICE, Stinson Beach' on each angle. It is a picture of the Algar building which stood on Highway One, now a real estate building. The dark-colored building next door (still in existence as Meristem - flowers and gifts), is also shown . The post card is original. It is printed by Pacific Novelty Co., San Francisco and Los Angeles.
