Description:
A black and white photograph is of an L shaped building. The ends ovate L are identical with three windows, the upper parts of which are comprised of 8 small panes, under a peaked roof. In the middle, at the elbow, is a latticed entryway leading to a French door next to another multipaned window. Beneath the gable facing the camera is a sign 'THE PINES' with a pine cone underneath and empty window boxes beneath the windows.. There is a pile of dirt beside the entry steps and a picket fence going off to the right of the building. A dirt road runs in front and a shrubby hillside is in back. "The Pines" Tea Room was located along Bolinas Lagoon, at McKinnon's Gulch, run by Mrs. McKinnon. The date written on the back,Feb. 18 1958, is probably the date the photo was received? Also written on the back "Tea room operated by Mrs McKennon 1920's L.Airey" . Original.
