This is Geranium Cottage at 5 Laurel Avenue built in 1907 by Elizabeth Airey. It was , in a description by Carol Wagner, former owner, one of several "hikers cabins" when Stinson Beach was the destination of robust souls who hiked over Mount Tamalpais to the sea. Originally a redwood and batten single wall structure of about 600 square feet it has been "improved " and modestly remodelled over the years. The last surviving daughter of Stinson Family. Geneva Leinhardt, lived there till her death.
