Description:
This is a black and white photogragh yellowed with age. It is of a long white building (a railway station). The building has a second floor which juts out and is supported by arches running the length of the structure. Coming from the left are railway tracks which go through an arch in what appears to be an annex to the building. The buildings are on a hillside and underneath the long building and below the level of the tracks there is a cement retaining wall that has windows or vents in it. The upper portion of the building, above the arches, has eight pairs of windows along the length of it. Windows are also visible along the end of the building. A mountain rises behind the station,(Mount Tamalpais). There is a dark building above and behind the station on the left side of the picture.
