Description:
This is a color photograph of a watercolor by Catherine Anderson of Petaluma California. It shows a white building with blue trim. The front of the building has an overhang supported by posts creating a front porch at the blue, dutch entry door. There is a blue and white sign hanging from the overhang saying OPEN and a blue and gold sign above the overhang, on the side of the building which says 'Sand Dollar Restaurant' and has a little martini glass after the writing. The word Sand is partially obscured by yet another sign which is blue and white and circular and says 'restaurant' and 'cocktails'. There are planted flower boxes in front of the porch railings. To the right of the picture is another circular blue and white sign with the words 'Sand Dollar' on it. Both the circular signs are on standards hanging out at right angles to the building front.
