A black and white photographic print of Stinson Beach with lots of beachgoers where the surf is rushing in. Bolinas Lagoon and Bolinas can be seen distance. The southern parking lot with cars is in front. The photograph has April 70 printed on the bottom. The park was still under jurisdiction of Marin County. On the back of the print, "Donated by Margot Patterson Doss" is stamped and written on photo: John Doss. Margot Patterson Doss, who went by her maiden name of Margot Patterson, was a well known San Francisco Chronicle columnist of "Bay Area at Your Feet". In that capacity, she introduced people to the natural wonders and trails of the Bay Area. She and her medical doctor husband, John Doss, had a house in Bolinas and later retired there.
