In this black and white photograph a woman leans against a stunted and convoluted conifer (probably a Jeffrey Pine) which appears to be growing out of a solid granite boulder capping a mountain top. There is a mountain ridge visible behind the tree in the distant background. The scenery is characteristic of the High Sierra.
