Description:
This color photo shows four wide steps leading up to a wide deck surrounding a small building with a slanted roof - high on the right side and lower on the left. There is a double hand rail going up the middle of the steps leading roughly to the door to the building. There are potted plants on the steps and on the deck in front of the building. To the left of the building is a T shaped sign holder with blue and white signs hanging from it. The sign hanging from the left side of the T (closest to the road which is on the left side of the building) says Healing Arts Center in white letters deployed vertically on a blue ground. The sign hanging from the right side of the T is undistinguishable. There are pine trees beside the road on the left and a mountain in the background.

Notes:
The Healing Art Center was established by Weber, Marion; a long time resident of Stinson Beach . It sold books, objects and herbal medicine, etc that might promote healing of mind and body. It had a separate small shack on the side which had a large sand tray and miniature figures. People created imagined scenery which healed their minds. It was closed in Nov. 2012 after 25 years.
