Description:
A large black and white photographic print of the White Gate Ranch as it stood before the GGNRA (established on 1972) took over in late 1970's. The fog fills the bowl of the beach and Bolinas Peninsula shown in the background. The ranch land surrounding the group of buildings is manicured by cows. A 1930's truck is parked in front of the barn. The White Gate Ranch was built ca 1870 and operated over the next 100 years. The last operator's name was Rick Solano who leased the land from George Leonard who owned the Stinson Beach Water Co. Also see 1993-774P.
