Description:
A couple of men on Stinson Beach in the midst of playing softball. The older man in bathing suit on the left, knees bent, acts as catcher. The younger man in black on the right has his arms raised and is holding a bat (or stick) in process of striking an incoming ball. There are a couple of onlookers in the background and a long one-story beach house beyond them. The rolling hillside forms a backdrop.
