Description:
A black and white photographic print (faded to sepia) of a group of 5 women and 2 men among the rocks on the beach. Only one man is bare headed, the other people wear hats protecting their faces from the sun, and are fully dressed, including street type shoes. From left to right: one woman is full length on the sand, the next sitting with her back to a large rock, next, higher than the others, has a book on her lap. In front of her, in the foreground, is a woman (Karen Lundquist Connelly) sitting sideways to the photographer, and two men lying down to her right, with the final woman seated to their right. In the faint overexposed area on the right of the print it is possible to believe there is a small white dog next to the last woman.
