This black and white photo shows a man (Gerry Olds) and woman sitting at a worktable. He is facing the camera and she is sideways to the camera on his right (on the left side of the picture) and looking at him. He wears a white shirt under a dark cardigan sweater. She has long dark hair and wears a white blouse and print skirt. He is working with his hands but it is impossible to tell what he is doing. She is working with a mallet and chisel hollowing out what appears to be a double wooden bowl. There are tools and a bowl on the table in front of her and a window behind him.
