This black and white photograph is of an older couple sitting on the porch of a house looking out, in the direction of the ocean. The house is identified as "Laffalot" at 1 Belvedere, Stinson Beach, CA at the corner of Highway l. The porch has an Oriental style lantern hanging from the ceiling and the far side is enclosed by striped cloth. A profusion of plants are growing on the porch. The couple both wear hats and appear warmly dressed, he in dark clothing and she in layers with a skirt to the ground. She is sitting in a swing and he in a wooden rocker.
