Anna Gardner lived in Seadrift with her surgeon husband, Richard. She bought and added to the beauty parlor owned by Mrs Mendoza and opened Anna Gardner Gallery in 1980's which became Claudia Chapline Gallery in 1990's. Her Gallery were very successful and showed only contemporary works.
