In this color photographic print, a fireman, Lance Oswald, is adjusting the water hose protruding from the pumper truck. The truck is parked on the soft shoulder of the highway, the fireman is wearing a black firemen's hat and yellow jacket. He is squatting close to the ground adjusting the hose which seems to have a flow problem due to another hose lying on top of it.
