In this black and white photograph two men and a woman are standing in front of a van watching a man working a prying rod to open the front of a car. There is another man watching the operation from behind the man. The woman, closest to the camera, is Karen Garrett. Behind her is Donny Mackin. The man behind them (mostly obscured) is Al Engel. The man wielding the pry bar is Olaf Gneishiwitz. Marcus White is behind him. They are all members of the Stinson Beach Voluteer Fire Department and are holding a practice session on extricating a subject from a crumpled car.
