Small B&W photo shows the old schoolhouse on Hwy 1 north of the village, nestled at the base of the hill with raised flag on pole on the right and a running fence in front. In front of the fence are hedge-type bushes and what looks to be a rock border before the road. Along the fence triangular flags are strung interspersed with the words "GATE FIESTA." A few people are leaning on the fence (in photo they appear between the schoolhouse and the flagpole) and a single person stands apart from them (on left but still along the fence). The back of the photo shows the date June 18, 1937 taken by Bear Photo Services.
