A black and white photograph of the Stinson Beach flood of 1983, in which floods from the ocean swells bring debris from the Boyle house through the Calles to Hwy. 1. The picture is taken from Calle de Resaca. Wood debris and water are in the foreground. Surviving houses are shown and at the center a helicopter in flight. A power pole is still standing, but a large tree to its right leans toward the street.
