View of downtown buildings along Highway One. From R. to L. is The Breakers Cafe with an open deck. Two people are sitting on the railing looking toward the camera. A sign on the roof towards the rear says Cottage. Next is a white building with a Coca Cola sign out front and signs on the side saying Fountain - Lunch and Ice Cream. A black automobile is parked diagonally in front of it. The next building is only partially visible and remains the same in look today.

Breaker's Restaurant-present Sand Dollar Restaurant, not the new Breaker's on south side of Highway One.

David Rieger who lives in Washington State called and talked to Kerry Livingston, the librarian.
His grand father R. T. Brosheat owned the Breaker's Restaurant till 1962. He bought it from Johnny Walker and Jim Mar in 1950's. His parents, Frans and Adrian Rieger built houses on first left of Seadrift. His Mother, Frans, ran 5 times between 1957 to 61; father, Adrian, ran Dipsea once.
