Description:

This black and white photo is taken looking down a road (highway 1). Across the road is a row of four cars parked diagonally to the edge of the road and beyond them is a large barn-like building which houses the Surf Shop. The entire side of the building is visible. There are two signs, one above the other, along the roof spine. The upper one says SURF SHOP and the lower one says SURF RENTALS . Below the roof, on the side of the building, is a sign saying WET SUIT SALE. Farther down the road, beyond the Surf Shop are other buildings with cars parked in front of them. There are trees on the right of the picture and behind the Surf shop as well as some hillside cottages. There is a telephone pole in front of the Surf Shop and two more farther down the road.
