Description:

This black and white photograph is taken looking down a street (highway 1) with buildings on the right. The building closest to the camera has an expansive front of board siding. The roof line (a false front) rises in steps on each side. There is white trim on the roofline and around the windows and the door which is located between the windows. There is a surf board against the building above the door on which is written 'Surf Shop'. There is another sign, attached at right angles to the building, above the surf board sign and a small upper window, close to the top of the roof. Cars are parked along the road in front of the buildings, the one closest to the camera being a white station wagon.
