Scope & Content:
Many community activities ca. 1946 to 1965 were recorded by Lester Sadler. No sound is accompanies this video. This video contains:
1. Theater production at the community center (Screens 1 to 3). The performers are wearing Victorian costumes. This could be a presentation by Allied Arts Theater Group.
2. 4th of July Carnival with a helicopter landing on the beach, swimming races at the beach and the Beautiful Baby Contest.
3. Construction of one of the community center buildings, perhaps the firehouse. Men are pouring concrete foundations and building framing.
4. Play. Letter initial RM is on the curtain. The show is about a fashion show. A group of ladies sit on the both sides of the opening of the curtain. They could be onlookers or the judges. Several ladies come in and out in different costumes.
