An original photograph by Jon Brenneis of three adults and two children standing in front of a large stone fireplace. The two women , one standing on a ladder, are placing greens on the mantle. A man with photographic equipment is taking a picture of them. Two small children, a boy on the left and a girl on the right are watching. A large plaque over the fireplace is inscribed "Stinson Beach Community Center, dedicated November 28, 1953. Conceived and constructed by the people of Stinson Beach". Four wooden chairs are scattered in the foreground.
