The photo is 1937 photo taken when the hotel was known as Sea Beach Hotel built and operated by Airey family. William and Luise Airey sold it in 1964, and the name was changed to Grand Hotel. After the fire the marque sign was salvaged by a Bolinas man and used as the sign of his antique store on Brighton Ave., Bolinas with the same name.
